Kim Porterfield, CN
Kim is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin where she received a B.A. in Psychology/Sociology with Highest Honors.
Before joining the IEM team in February 2005, Kim obtained a Cooper Elite Specialty Certification in Dietary Guidance and a certification as a Physical Fitness Specialist through the world renowned Cooper Institute in Dallas, Texas. Kim later completed her post-graduate nutrition studies and graduated with highest honors. She also scored a perfect score on the 6 hour long Comprehensive CN Certified Nutritionist Private License Board Exam - the first perfect score in its 30 year history. ACCOMPLISHMENTS Through her extensive volunteer experience with such organizations as the Ronald McDonald House, Kim was able to utilize her psychology background to aid and assist others facing crisis situations and other life challenges. Her psychology background is a big part of her success formula with her clients at IEM, and paired with the IEM principles, she helps her clients achieve a lifestyle plan that not only brings good results--but results that can be maintained. Kim was also a nationally ranked NPC Figure Competitor and has competed in competitions in Dallas, Houston, Chicago and Pittsburgh. She achieved outstanding placings, including 6th place at a national level competition. She credits her results to following the dietary guidelines provided by IEM. Kim has also assisted numerous clients in becoming National Level and/or Pro Figure, Fitness and Bikini Competitors while working at IEM.
