Keith Klein, CN, CCN
Keith trained in Clinical Nutrition at the Institute of Specialized Medicine during the early 1980s. He spent five years at the Institute working along side some of Houston’s most prestigious physicians.
In 1986, Keith became the Dietetic Director at Houston’s Bariatric Center with psychiatrist Dr. John H. Simms. It was Keith who designed and implemented the dietary protocol and dietetic programs that were used in all four of Dr. Simms’ clinics. After Dr. Simms retired, Keith (in conjunction with Dr. Preston) opened both The Texas Nutrition Clinic and the Houston Sports Medicine Clinic. BOOKS He has also been a contributor to several popular books such as EAS Supplement Review; The Great American Slimdown; and Larry North’s latest book, Get Fit. MAGAZINES He was the nutrition editor for City Fitness Magazine, as well as the publisher of The Watchdog newsletter. RADIO ◾ Hosted his own show Healthy Living with Keith Klein on The Biz Radio radio network in both Dallas and Houston ◾ Hosted his own nationally syndicated radio program on the Prime Sports Network that aired in over 120 cities ◾ Hosted his own radio show on CBS Radio for 8 years throughout the Houston market ◾ Hosted his own radio show on KSEV Radio for 4 years throughout the Houston market ◾ Hosted the television show Smart Bodies, which aired weekday mornings on TPN ◾ Hosted the weekend Health Beat reporting every Saturday and Sunday on KPRC Channel 2 News |
